First Review on The Ocean Callings

http://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/The-Ocean-Callings-Audiobook/B01C4OOOEW/
5.0 out of 5 stars A very creative book. Great imagination., February 21, 2016
This author not only has a very vivid imagination but also the wonderful ability to be able to transfer her thoughts in such a simplistic way onto the page that the readers are very quickly involved in the storyline.

Set it in a small coastal town in Scotland you enjoy the sights, sounds and scenes not only set out on land, but also above and below the sea. You are taken on a mystical journey which is filled with a mixture of humorous, tense and sometimes scary moments. You soon warm to the characters of the book; the old-fashioned tight-knit network of the local community, and the modern banter and pranks from the younger new residents to the area.

This book allows the reader to escape reality but then realise that in life there are always consequences from decisions and actions we take. I found it to be funny, gripping, and warm-hearted. A good read.

Labyrinthine Chapters 10-12

LABYRINTHINE

To Listen on audible: http://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/Labyrinthine-Audiobook/B011N0QVN0/ref=a_search_c4_1_3_srTtl?qid=1445681627&sr=1-3#publisher-summary

CHAPTER 10

The old woman glanced at her watch; she had two miles to walk to the designated position. She felt tired and weary, just old. Admittedly, there were other ways to travel, it was just she should not influence anything and definitely not talk to anyone. “This one will be perfect,” she croaked.

Olivia was late, “This is so strange. Why would that happen?” She took a seat at her large, mahogany desk and pulled her sketchbook from a drawer. Click. The lead in her pencil was ready. What was it? Connector, time frame, eyes and Retina Blue, she scribbled. There was no obvious connection.

Leaning back in her chair, Olivia gazed into space. Her head swooned. The image of the being’s eyes haunted her. Carefully she drew the Connector’s eye. Were they green or turquoise? Clear? Was there a pattern or was it missing a pattern? With a loud sigh she rested her head in her hands, she felt exhausted, ill, weak and insane.

“Where’s Max when I need him? I need his rationale,” she muttered.

It was too much – too weird! Olivia took a deep breath; it had not intended to kill her. It? Was ‘it’ mutated or some kind of clone?

Olivia paused mid-sketch; its eyes weren’t human. What does that mean? She chewed her pencil and attempted to retrace the previous events. What had happened before she woke up? When had she been beaten? Why couldn’t she remember? Olivia pinched herself out of courtesy. She had done that many times as a child. Yes, she had experienced visions before. Usually stress triggered them. Nevertheless, they were just kid’s visions - they happened with over-active imaginations.

Olivia rested her head in her hands; it was happening again, the creativity was taking over. When she was young, she would get so involved in her inner landscape that she could get stuck. Hours and hours of daydreaming enabled her to travel through ornate mental labyrinths, the source of her inspiration. Of course, she never told people where she got the images, they would never understand and she certainly could not show them. Olivia huffed, it was there again, the events that took place when she was thirteen. That was when the labyrinth had become the place to escape and hide. The door was opening and it was calling her. If she went in again she feared she would never return. She had almost died there once and she did not intend to allow that to happen again.

Something sparkled from amongst the shag pile. Olivia dashed over, picked up the tiny ornament and stared at it. “It’s empty - but it’s real.”

Within a second, the ornament shattered and disintegrated in her hand. A glittery substance remained.

CHAPTER 11

Max strolled along the promenade next to Bournemouth beach. It was a warm summer’s day, so tourists clustered in droves close to the pier. On the edge of the beach, Max found himself the perfect view of sun-lotioned, glistening bodies and bikini-clad breasts. It was beautiful. From such a vantage point, he could select a variety of potential conquests to prey upon. With his hotel just two minutes away, it was perfect. The sales conference had finished two days ago and he was simply enjoying the view.

In a matter of weeks, when he completed his contract, he would be free of her, the drain. He could have whatever he wanted - whoever he wanted. Max began the stroll back to his hotel and glanced at his reflection in one of the pier shop windows, he looked shattered. He wondered how much more emotional support he could provide Olivia. It was draining, but he was close to the payout.

A raven landed on a post close to where Max was admiring himself. It squawked but was ignored.

Max smoothed his hair; he had the image, but certainly did not have the collateral. He posed in his lavish car, chosen purely for sex appeal. He dealt in cars; he needed the best - of course. Admittedly, it was not his own, he could never afford such a vehicle with all his debt. Max turned his back to a group of giggling girls and watched them in the mirrored window. One particular petite blonde caught his eye and smiled back. He intended to ‘have’ her by the end of the day.

He glanced at his mobile phone, Olivia’s number was on the display ready to dial. He shook his head; Olivia was business, the blonde, on the other hand, was potentially unadulterated pleasure.

CHAPTER 12

Olivia assembled her sketchbooks and shoved them into her green corduroy bag. She checked herself in the mirror and adjusted some of her dark ringlets. She searched her scalp for cuts - nothing. Why did she feel so bruised? She paused by the mirror, she’d changed so much of late. At least she was recognisable now, rather than the withdrawn skeleton she had been through her years of ‘escape’. The mind is a powerful tool, Olivia, but your body still needs to function. She rearranged her hair, picked up her bag and made her way out of her apartment.

Descending the remaining steps into the garage, Olivia clicked her car key. Her purple Peugeot sat waiting. It had been a birthday present from Max. She often wondered how he had raised the money.

Turning the key in the ignition, Olivia revved the engine and drove off at speed. The events of the morning spun through her mind. Some lively music would distract her. That was exactly what she needed: a distraction.

To make it to the Tate gallery in Pimlico, Olivia had to cross the Hammersmith Bridge and it was nearing rush hour. She was already late and the traffic would not be kind. What’s more, when she arrived she would have to deal with a sweaty, angry maniac. Olivia unconsciously shook her head. How do I explain?

CHAPTER 13

Guy resembled the statue of David, but in the flesh, albeit David’s male appendage. He did, however, have large feet and strong hands. In his early thirties with dark hair and sky blue eyes, he struggled with the perfect white female statuette he had carved. He admired her perfection as he wrapped her carefully in some thick, cream canvas and took one last glance at his beautiful sculpture. He hated parting with her after so much time and effort.

He climbed onto his motorbike and wedged the statue by his heart. He adjusted his leather riding jacket and left just the head poking out. Guy looked down and smirked. The small head peering from the jacket looked ridiculous. Smiling to himself, he kick-started his bike. He had to cross London in rush hour. I hate it. London drivers - God help me!

The old woman reached the meeting point and paused. I suppose I should sit down and wait until it happens- it’s nearly time. She adjusted her tatty floral skirt before she sat on some cool, marble steps beside a series of traffic lights. Someone will have to calm the traffic. Out of boredom, she examined her overgrown, curling, toenails. They were aggressively poking out of her worn, leather sandals. They need cutting.

She was early, she hated that. It meant people would witness her presence before the incident occurred. At least she had time to rehearse her lines. “The eye is the gateway to the soul - not very original... Okay... The eye is the gateway to the soul, the eye contains all information - it is not to be tampered with, and it will change everything when discovered.”

The old woman coughed a phlegmy cough and wiped her mouth. “The eye is the gateway to the soul. Time and instance are reflected within it. Within the eye is the divine - oh shit, I always forget that bit!” she said gruffly and scratched her neck. That’s why being old is such a bloody conundrum. When you finally have knowledge, you cannot bloody remember it for the life of you. What you do bloody remember you repeat. Oh to remember…To understand.

Ivy glanced at the dolls, “what are you staring at?”

A passer-by threw a coin sympathetically at the old woman. It bounced off her head and spun on the ground. “She thinks I’m bloody mad and now she’s upset the balance. How am I supposed to do this properly if the rules constantly get broken?”

The old woman looked up; before her stood a figure dressed in black.

“Give me the coin -,” said the powerful, sexless voice.

The old woman passed the coin obligingly.

The figure spun the circular metal piece into the air.

She watched the coin arc and land before the passer-by. The coin pinged as it collided with the ground and compelled the passer-by to pick it up.

The old woman looked up at the figure. “I thought it was about time you showed up,” she said huskily.

Money Farm Chapter 7

CHAPTER 7

Link to Paperback on Amazon:Link: http://amzn.com/151230526X

THE COMPLEXITIES OF A CASH-RICH COMPLEX

The simplicities of life are what make it rich.

Complexity makes things unfathomable. There is reason for that.

The complex had always fascinated me; however, there had been no time previously to watch the comings and goings of the M.O.N.E.Y.s. What’s more, there were no statistics revealing how much the M.O.N.E.Y. individuals earned. The only research I could find stated that every worker had been psychologically profiled and perfectly aligned to their corresponding role within the system. The M.O.N.E.Y. ‘farm’ had concealed and restricted all access to their information. The secrecy of the M.O.N.E.Y. behaviour triggered a gut reaction - something did not financially add up. How could the M.O.N.E.Y.s be so financially stable amongst a debt-driven economy? Surely investment was coming from somewhere – but who? Was there a system or pattern to their financial habits and status?

The more I studied the more obvious it became how the debt habit consumed the world outside the M.O.N.E.Y. farm. The universal acceptance of debt as ‘normal’ remained unquestioned by the masses. Banks lent to banks, people borrowed from banks and government sovereignties generated debt between countries and banks. All lent and borrowed to and from each other with a variety of differing interest rates. Debt was being used to support additional debt. Over time a stalemate developed and the debt disease infected the majority of the world including governments, corporations and individuals. Everyone who stepped into the debt dynamic remained trapped in the cycle of financial survival and growing repayments. Any kind of debt confession received sneers in the same way as alcoholism or drug addiction. How could people have the audacity to lose financial control? How dare they admit financial weakness and vulnerability? The society that taught its individuals to suppress emotion also endorsed debt avoidance and debt denial. In fact, the addiction to financial lack through the illusion of loans had caused the original issue. Denial would ultimately lead to further crisis. Suppression resulted in a debt disease – the financial cancer. All the while the distracting celebrity circuses invaded the homes of the mass who were repetitiously fed dissatisfaction. Over two thousand messages per day repeatedly told the individual they were not good enough. Their unsuspecting subconscious was being persuasively raped – the result buying objects and things that they did not need to fulfill an empty desire to conform and feel good enough. The more the individual was told they were not good enough, the more products were offered to solve that issue. It never worked, no psychological problem or belief could be solved with an object. The real issue was the lack of individual self-esteem.

In contrast, M.O.N.E.Y.’s appeared united in their financial methodology. It was like watching a rare breed flourish amongst the collapsing system. What’s more, they weren’t living off the ruin of others. They were not parasitic, more symbiotic. They had been privy to an insight into accumulation whilst others lived in depreciation. They were a wealth hybrid that now controlled the financial machine. Something mysterious was taking place behind the walls of the M.O.N.E.Y. farm. It was no coincidence that their behaviour was so calculated. The more I watched the M.O.N.E.Y.s, the more fascinated I became. M.O.N.E.Y. held the answers into an alternative and an insight into the M.O.N.E.Y.-tary system. Maybe there was a level of progression within their system. Maybe it could reveal financial answers to society as a whole. The question was: how did one find out?

Narration - Helen Lloyd - Kick A$$!
Really Great Narration - Brits and Aussies and Germans and more. Lovely voice to listen to and she even captured the rather robotic nature of the cult-like members of the Money Farm.

This is a really terrific book - and is it bad that for the majority of the book I was thinking "sign me up!" (or at least sign up one of my grand-kids and let me move into one of the retirement neighborhoods).

The Money's are all 'their best selves' due to the nutrition and fitness requirements along with a few other treatments along the way which are tailored to each individual and allow them to reach their full potential. All their needs are met, they have no debts, no worries, they are appreciated and they all live in really nice digs. (like I said...sign me up!)

It's a smartly written and thought provoking book of a Dystopian/Eutopian society where our heroine Jyllian finds her-self jobless with her savings running out. She ends up being selected to join the M.O.N.E.Y.'s as a "breaker" because of her intelligent & rebellious way of thinking. She is to challenge their systems and find ways to break them, all in the name of making them better.

The story follows her and a few other select characters through their introduction to Money, their training, their indoctrination and ultimately through their discovery of what Money's goals really are.

I can't really say much more without giving away too much, but I thought it was a really terrific book. It was hard for me to 'get into it' in the beginning, but I plan to listen to the start again.

It's smartly written and filled with intricate details about these two "worlds". Really an interesting book about the state of the worlds finances! Loved it! I'm actually stunned that I'm only the second review of this book on Goodreads. READ or LISTEN to it! It's a keeper!

I received a copy of this audiobook free of charge from Audiobookblast in exchange for an unbiased review.

New Book Release - Goylegate - One Gargantuan Scandal!

Goylegate - One Gargantuan Scandal!

LINK TO GOYLEGATE on Kindle

This week sees Goylegate - One Gargantuan Scandal! enter the Kindle book market. I will be interested to see what happens with this one because this is the one that was so close to being agented and auctioned. When it was in its original form I sold loads of these from the desk.

It was after the disappointment of this book being dropped (hugely hurt ego after blowing everything out of proportion) along with growing bored with rejection letters that I decided to go it alone. That decision is what directed me to learn all that I could about the indie market and triggered me to find new and entrepreneurial ways to get my creations out there. Life is strange; however, this book opened so many doors for me. In fact I still love it even though it was one of my first.

Oh, and this story was written because a friend of mine kind of has it all. It was her birthday so I asked her what she wanted. She replied: 'A story about Gargoyles.' Unfortunately I could not write a short story instead I came up with a  whole children's novel. I hope you enjoy it!

Part I

What does a kid really remember?

CHAPTER 1

The fastest pace throughout the chase.

TIME: TODAY
LOCATION: ENGLAND

Davina hated being chased. So why was she in that situation? With her heart pounding, she glanced behind her. The beefy black-suited men were catching up. She gritted her teeth, put her head down and ran her absolute fastest. Effortlessly, she wove through the crowds with such speed and agility that she was barely even noticed. It was as if a warm breath had been exhaled and then she was gone.
In all directions, the hunters yelled into small lumps of black.
‘Cut her off!’ screamed the voice in charge.
How had the situation grown so out of hand? One minute she was eating from the large dark container on the street, the next she was being hunted. What was the problem? She had watched a hairy man with a long jacket eat from the cabbage smelling place. So why were they picking on her? Admittedly she was small, acrobatic, with long, dark hair and pale skin. Nothing that unusual, other than her blue freckles.
‘Stop right there!’ a brawny bloke had hollered.
Instinctively she had scarpered. The chase began with one angry-looking man and now there were already ten involved. She had done nothing wrong! Well, certainly nothing she could remember.
The screeching sound of the wheeled, metal cages jerked her from her thoughts. Her pursuers intended to surround her. There was no way! She had to escape but she was at that designated place for a reason - but why? There had to be a clue…
Davina rounded a corner and searched for an escape or somewhere to hide. The crowd parted and watched her curiously. She wasn’t panting or making a noise, so why were they staring? Maybe running, climbing and jumping at a rate none of them could manage was something to do with it. Or was she more agile than many children her age? Actually, what was her age? That was a completely different matter.
Ahead of her, two burly black-suits blocked her path. She glanced behind her - four grimacing men, waving their arms, attempted to round her up like a chicken. The onlookers expected her capture and stopped in the street, gawking. Why couldn’t people mind their own business? What did it matter what she had eaten or where she had obtained it from? Maybe they had been monitoring where she slept at night. Had they followed her to the place where people pulled down their trousers and sat for a while before they left again? All she did was climb through a small, square window when the moon rose. It was completely opposite to her usual routine, but she had to live the same rhythm as the ‘outsiders’.
With a deep breath, she sprinted towards the two chunky chasers blocking her path. ‘Idiots!’ she muttered, ran sideways up a wall and used a dustbin to launch herself clear over them.
Some of the gawping onlookers applauded.
With an elegant landing, she continued. As she raced along, she glimpsed a reflection in a window: the two male black-suits huffed at each other, puffed out their chests and lolloped back into a heavy-footed run.
Frantically, she searched for a place to hide. The church - the same church she had woken up outside of on that first day. She hurdled the wall, sprinted the graveyard but ground to an abrupt halt. Something about the carved, stone figures leaning out of the church jogged her memory. Were they associated with her mission?
She scurried to the nearest grey, stone wall, ingrained with yellow and green lichen. Using all her upper body strength and her fingers like claws, she navigated the carvings up to a balcony. The strangely familiar Gargoyle faces appeared to grin at her as she wedged herself into a tiny alcove on the roof. Had she heard a growl of welcome?
Below her, a small pile of steaming stones appeared. They tumbled heavily to the ground. Plop, plop, plop!
Cautiously, she traversed the edge of the roof and found a small nook to hide in. Unfortunately, it was not enough to conceal her from what was overhead. The whirring of blades from a metal flying machine made her jolt. Up in the sky, men shouted into the dark talking machines and called in her location. She caught her breath and clung to the ledge. The wind from the machine was strong and blew her hair across her face. Davina scraped it back and erratically scanned the area for escape. She considered fighting the black-suits directly, but that would give her away. Davina sighed, if only she could remember. ‘Whatever you do Davina - do not draw attention to yourself. She will send people to capture you. This is all you are supposed to remember,’ was all that remained.
What had she done? She had already drawn attention to herself and that meant trouble!
Davina gazed up at the whirring, flying machine and glanced below. The black-suits beneath circled like starving dogs. She had to take action. Her only possible escape was to leap to a nearby tree then across the adjacent field. Could she make it?
Davina took a deep breath launched herself along the balcony. Bang!
The bitter sting of something sharp bit into her behind. Darkness descended upon her. Time was lost with her last thought – who were the outsiders?

MONEY FARM REVIEW

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
on July 13, 2015
Gillian’s world is turned upside down when she is unexpectedly ‘released’ from her job. Her government funding is revoked after the board decides they did not like a paper she wrote on ‘Reactants, resistance, reflexivity and reversal in times of financial and social hardship.’

All of a suddenly her secure life has gone. What will she do? All around her people are getting into debt, being encouraged to spend more than they have, buy things they don’t need. Possessions are everything, all that matters. Why? How had the world gotten into this state, and why didn’t the powers that be want to hear what she had to say?

Not taking her redundancy laying down Gillian’s resolve hardens as she actively strives to understand the financial system and money handling. Living on her savings whilst looking for a job, she soon discovers that it won’t be long before she is homeless.

But what about M.O.N.E.Y? The people who work for M.O.N.E.Y live at the Money Farm, which was a series of huge walled islands, linked by bridges, which has been in existence for over 200 years. Gillian becomes obsessed with the M.O.N.E.Y concept. Who are these people, how are they chosen? M.O.N.E.Y is totally self-sufficient, secretive, she has to know more.

How do you become part of M.O.N.E.Y, this amazing organisation whose employees themselves are intriguing?

Then, one day she follows a M.O.N.E.Y employee out of a shop and asks the man the leading question “How do I become one of you?”

This simple question, and his reply changes her life forever.

As she trains and is inducted into the world of M.O.N.E.Y, Gillian soon discovers that she has in fact been chosen. Her militant nature and questioning attitude allows her to think outside the box. However, I wondered, as the story progressed, did M.O.N.E.Y have any idea of what her impact would be?

This was a fascinating book, deep and very thought provoking, it made you wonder…

I will certainly be looking out for more very interesting books by this talented author.

Do You Have One Of These In Your Offce??? The Office Sexual Fantasy!

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback. You may like to join me in a 'bottom dance' of celebration because I have a 5* review in the Mid-west review today. Also it seems people are rather enjoying The Office Zoo  - so I have decided to post one 'Office Animal' each day until the weekend.
Today's Office Animal is: THE OFFICE SEXUAL FANTASY!!!

LISTEN TO THE OFFICE ZOO FREAKY BUT GEEKY HERE:

DO YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE IN YOUR OFFICE????

The Office Sexual Fantasy

This is a different branch of the human visual-stimulation beast. Both men and women have these creatures pulsating in their periphery. You don’t particularly want to know them but you do like to look at them. They are different to the Office Hotty because they are not obvious. Instead, they have something a little mysterious and sexy about them. They subtly pass by the desk and send you off into a radiant vision of rampant rumpy pumpy on a remote beach in the Caribbean.

We all know we are all over-worked, underpaid and often the only way to deal with that is to escape into the beauty of imagining /fantastical sausage escapades. I will be honest; one time one of my female colleagues alerted me to her office sexual fantasy, which was a huge mistake. Later that day I collided with him on the stairs and blurted out ‘you are my work mate’s sexual fantasy.’ Well that was it, the fun of a new sausage alignment project by utilising excellent email coordination. All of these efforts resulted in with her Office Sexual Fantasy aligned with certain arrangements of fruit when she looked up. There were times when I made him stand in such a position that she could see him while he held a banana provocatively and appeared to be absorbed by an innocent conversation. It was so much fun!!!

Admittedly, my friend’s sexual fantasy and I had a great time coming up with every kind of odd alignment, juxta-positioning and poses. What was amazing is that she remained oblivious until one day she said to me, ‘something happened. I just don’t fantasise about him anymore.’ I wondered whether too much of a good thing (and too much erect fruit and baguettes) had affected her. Finally, I asked what had changed. Unfortunately, her Office Sexual Fantasy had advised her of a story involving him having a bad stomach and a couple of days spent on a lavatory. That one story smashed the shit out of the illusion. There was a lesson in that: Do not talk to your Office Sexual Fantasy or the Office Sexual Fantasy because they are never the same in reality and they will never live up to your ideals /expectations.

The Lesson In Opposites

The lesson in polarity.

Have you noticed how many really rather strange people lurk on this planet? I have been thinking in depth about their existence and the point of them. I would also like to mention that to some people I may seem a rather random phenomenon – thinking about weirdoes and the point of their existence. Weirdo-existentialism could be a new field of behavioural theory - Weirdism.

So over the last few years, through the wonderful world of internet dating, it has been my great fortune to meet many a complete and absolute wombat. I have met liars, cheats, fantasists, men who have numerous women on the go and can ‘justify’ it through their need to ‘cultivate’ themselves. Of course I have met some wonderful men who have experience the same with the female versions who are also married, lie, fantasise and basically rip the men off. Now that we have that clear – this is a general weirdo /polarity discussion. With all this odd behaviour and justification, one can look at it in two ways – you can look at it as misfortune and become the victim. You can glance across at happy couples who blissfully gaze into each other’s eyes, who genuinely feel love and feel a hint of jealous or you can transform it to your benefit. This is where polarity came in. I only realised how much I valued truth by meeting so many people who lied. I asked whether it was my shadow and it was showing me that I lie. That was not the case; instead, it made me think about the value of honest, good people and how lucky I am to have so many in my life.

I learned about selfishness through meeting those who were self-obsessed and did not consider others. I asked whether I wanted to become that kind of person. I made the changes in me necessary.

Kindness is a beautiful virtue – how often do we appreciate that trait in others? Does it really take meeting those who are unkind to cultivate our own kindness and not treat others badly?

Respect and consideration. How much do you respect yourself? How much do you demonstrate it? Then why would you allow another to show you disrespect? The same with consideration – do you consider others to the detriment of yourself – who really considers you?

Criticism. Have you ever been out with anyone who is controlling and criticises? What right have they got to do that? Why has anyone got the right to criticise another? That was when the penny dropped – in my head I criticised others. The size of a bottom, the hair style – the combination of clothing. I never said it aloud, however, it was going on in my head. I realised I was finding fault in others to feel better about myself. It took someone criticising me to see how my mental laser-beam was focused. I focused on the fault and the negative. Did I want that to be my inner world? It took time to shift the habit and move to genuine compliments and purposely finding the good in others and in myself. Yet this shift in perspective proved to me that polarity was quite a phenomenon. Critisism->Compliment-tastic. People light up when you see the good in them and point it out. They shrivel at criticism. I am not saying do this in a false approval way. If you see something good – it is worth pointing out.

Love. This was one of the biggies for me – why would you expect someone outside yourself to love you when in actual fact are you demonstrating love to yourself. Will it really take you to hate another to understand what you really want to feel is love?

The fantasists are those who dream and do nothing about it. They talk about it, imagine it and do nothing to make what they talk about real. They share their vision or their sexual fantasy and then what? Well they talk some more, dream some more and then repeat. I realised I was a dreamer; however, my actions took my dreams into writing reality. Through meeting endless ‘talkers’ who fantasised I learned that landing your dream asteroids on earth was paramount to progress. Maybe some do not wish to progress and good on them.

Finally my biggest learning of all these interactions for me was discernment. Have you ever asked yourself the question – who do you really want in your life? What are the qualities of those people? So why tolerate the dickheads? Why do you have people in your life who drain your energy and cause you to feel bad through criticism, lies and moaning? Are we simply being nice – because they certainly aren’t! Maybe the lesson for them is ‘if you carry on like an arsehole you will end up alone – a lone arsehole’. There is no point playing martyr and tolerating their behaviour because it will only lead to resentment.

So I have now finished the drafts of my twelve books in the Richidiot.com series and to be very honest – I never ever Ever EVER want to internet date again. The thing is the dating time and the time writing the RichIdiot.com - dating series was a massive learning for me because I quite simply did not ‘get some of the guys and their behaviour.’ I realised I never would because they had different values and saw the world in a completely different way. They could justify their ‘odd behaviour’ to themselves or anyone who would listen. The lesson in discernment and learning what type of person I really wanted in my life was a major one. I then had to figure out how I could kindly remove myself from those who weren’t what I wanted.

During the few year writing the series, my life changed and so did I. I realise that through writing  RichIdiot.com I changed, my perception of life changed and through meeting numerous weirdoes that polarity was an immensely clever universal learning tool. I hope you can see that we have two ways to look at things – from shit you can grow a rose.
